 All City of Corpus Christi non-essential offices will be closed during the week between Christmas and New Year's. Most offices will be closed beginning Monday, December 25, 2023, and reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

 The City's Solid Waste Services Department and Code Enforcement Division have collaborated with the Texas General Land Office (TGLO) and Texas Parks and Wildlife to promote the Vessel Turn-In Program (VTIP).

 Street closures along major City streets impacting motorists and pedestrians are listed below.

The City will perform pavement testing on Ocean Drive between Resaca Street and Ennis Joslin Road between December 18 and December 22.

A contractor will temporarily close the intersection of Flour Bluff Drive and Peaceful Lane to perform sanitary sewer installations for a private development beginning on December 18, weather permitting.

 At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved a resolution requesting the transfer of ownership from State Highway 9 (Leopard Street from IH 37 Frontage to Water Street) from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to the City of Corpus Christi.

 At today’s regularly scheduled Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved a motion awarding a construction contract to Clark Pipeline Services, LLC. for the Ship Channel Waterline and Gas Line Crossing Rebid project as part of the Port of Corpus Christi Ship Channel widening and deepening.

At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council passed a critical motion to significantly enhance the City’s road infrastructure.
