As part of Phase 1 of the Bond 2018 and Bond 2020 Alameda Street Project, the contractor will implement a series of temporary closures.

 Phase 1A of the Bond 2020 Flato Road Project will begin on Monday, June 10. During this phase, Flato Road will be closed from the intersection of Bear Lane to the second driveway of West Oso High School. 

The City’s next Litter Critter community cleanup event will take place on Saturday, June 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the W.B. Ray High School parking lot, located at 1002 Texan Trail.

A contractor for the City of Corpus Christi will perform street maintenance on Cimarron Boulevard from Airline Road to Legacy Point beginning on May 28. 

The National Weather Service forecasts that above-average temperatures and an abundance of moisture across South Texas will lead to dangerous heat index values today and continue through the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.

 The City of Corpus Christi will conduct a hazardous material drill at the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant located at 13101 Leopard Street on Friday, May 24.

Beginning Monday, May 20, the intersection at Everhart Road and Staples Street will be closed to all traffic from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. due to waterline work. 

City crews will perform spot repair work on Yorktown Boulevard between Lake Travis Drive and Everhart Road over the next few weeks.

  A Texas Department of Transportation contractor is scheduled to seal coat the southern section of Park Road 22 beginning at about noon Wednesday.

This afternoon, a private sector contractor working in the Commodores Bridge area of North Padre Island struck a Corpus Christi Water bypass water line, causing a water line break and loss of pressure on certain portions of the Island.
