At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the Council approved submitting a grant application to the U.S. Department of Justice for the Fiscal Year 2026 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program in the amount of $221,404.
At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the Council approved the acceptance of more than $780,000 in federal grant funding to install exhaust removal systems at 13 Corpus Christi fire stations. The improvements will help protect firefighters by reducing exposure to harmful diesel exhaust.

Beginning Monday, October 12, a section of Thames Drive between Rhine Drive and Williams Drive will be closed while construction continues on a reclaimed water pipeline.
