Reading Programs
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
This program is for children ages birth to five years old, before they enter kindergarten. Read 1,000 books to your child to help them build early literacy skills and a love for reading!

Discovery Dome
The Discovery Dome is a portable planetarium available to schools and educational organizations within Corpus Christi. It has a maximum capacity of around 20 people or 1 class per showing.
Class Tours
Library tours are available for classes and other groups during library hours of operation. A library visit is between 30 to 45 minutes. A minimum of two weeks is necessary to schedule a tour. Read Policy #101.07 for information on Class Tours. Contact the library you would like to visit to make the arrangements.
Satellite Libraries
Daycare centers and after school programs can register to receive a box of books for students and parents to borrow. Arrangements to trade out your satellite library for a new box can be made with La Retama Central Library at Library@CorpusChristiTX.gov.

Virtual Storytime
Contact us at Library@CorpusChristiTX.gov to request a live, virtual storytime at a school or daycare.
