The City of Corpus Christi and Corpus Christi Water (CCW) have launched a new online water dashboard to provide the public with useful information during ongoing drought conditions. The dashboard features monthly data on water availability, forecasts for potential water restriction changes, and monitoring of both western and eastern water supplies.

Operation Heat Help

The Operation Heat Help program offers financial assistance to qualifying natural gas customers by covering up to $100 (per household) for the gas portion of their utility bill from November 2025 through February 27, 2026.

Winter Coat Drive

Help keep those in need warm this winter. The Winter Coat Drive runs through Saturday, January 31. Gently used coats, jackets, or sweaters for children and adults will be accepted at any Corpus Christi Public Library location.

Critter Comfort Pet Donations Drive

Critter Comfort Pet Donations Drive

The community is encouraged to donate new or gently used blankets, towels, sheets, unopened treats, and canned or dry pet foods to support animals in need this winter. Donations will be accepted through Saturday, January 31, at any Corpus Christi Public Library location or at Animal Care Services.

  • Lane Closure Added at Everhart Road and South Padre Island Drive Intersection

    To facilitate ongoing water line improvements at the intersection of South Padre Island Drive (SPID) and Everhart Road, crews will implement a switch in lane closures on SPID Eastbound Frontage Road. Beginning Monday, December 29, and lasting approximately two weeks, the center lane of the eastbound frontage road will be closed, while the right-hand lane will remain open, allowing eastbound travel and left turns to Everhart Road.
  • City of Corpus Christi Winter Holiday Closure Schedule

    In observance of the holiday season, all City of Corpus Christi non-essential offices will be closed during the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. Most offices will be closed beginning Thursday, December 25, 2025, and reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026.

  • Council Approves Construction Contract for New Detention Center

    At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the Council approved awarding $4.85 million to South Texas Building Partners for the construction of a new detention center.
  • City Council Approves LNRA Facility Expansion Agreement

    At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the Council approved an Interlocal Agreement with the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority (LNRA) for the design of a pump station expansion at the LNRA facility in Edna, Texas.
  • City Council Approves Regional Water Cooperation Agreement

    The Corpus Christi City Council approved an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the cities of Alice, Beeville, and Mathis to provide for the ability to share resources to assist in water and wastewater projects across the region.
