  • UPDATE: City to Open Overnight Warming Shelter in Wake of Cold Front

    A strong cold will move into the area this weekend.  The National Weather Service is forecasting the coldest temperatures of the season, with lows below 40 degrees. Wind chills late Saturday night into Sunday morning will make it feel even colder, dropping the feels-like temperature to approximately 32 degrees. This should continue for four hours.

  • City Replacing Crosswalk at North Shoreline Boulevard

    The Corpus Christi Public Works Department will temporarily close portions of North Shoreline Boulevard to replace a decorative crosswalk to comply with updated state mandates starting on Tuesday, January 20.

  • Comentarios del público en las reuniones del Concejo Municipal

    Se han revisado los procedimientos para los comentarios del público en las reuniones del Concejo Municipal con el fin de mejorar la participación ciudadana.

    El 13 de enero, el Concejo Municipal aprobó una moción para cambiar la Sesión General de Comentarios del Público de las 5:30 p.m. a las 12:00 p.m. También se modificó el tiempo asignado a cada orador.

  • 2026 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - City Holiday Schedule

    Many City of Corpus Christi offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday. 

  • Section of Castenon Street Closed for Paving Work

    Beginning Monday, January 19, a section of Castenon Street from Trojan Drive to Delgado Street will close as roadway reconstruction begins.In the first phase, the roadway will close from the northern Moody High School driveway on Castenon Street to Delgado Street.
