Swim Programs

Through our swim lessons, we teach swimmers of all ages and skill levels to master swimming while teaching the importance of water safety. Group swimming lessons are designed for children ages 3 to 12. Teen/Adult, as well as Parent & Toddler classes, are also available. Level placement is based on the student’s swimming ability, age, and date registered. Swimmers ‘graduate’ to more advanced levels once they are competent in all the skills covered in the previous level.

Temporary Pool Closures

The recreational swim is temporarily unavailable at the Corpus Christi Natatorium.
The entire Corpus Christi Natatorium will be temporarily closed for the CCISD Swim Meets on April 12, April 26, April 27, May 2, and May 19 - May 23.
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department invites you to use Collier Pool during this time.

Spring Fun Day at the Pool on April 19

Join us for this event on Saturday, April 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Collier Pool, located at 3801 Harris Drive. Celebrate this wonderful season around the pool with your family and friends. Get ready for some excitement with poolside games and exciting in-pool activities! Admission is free and open to everyone. No registration is needed. We can't wait to see you there!

Now Hiring Gulf Beach Lifeguards

For Spring Break and Summer

The City of Corpus Christi is hiring Gulf Beach Lifeguards to fill its 2025 spring and summer positions. Attend one of our upcoming tryouts and interviews at the Corpus Christi Natatorium, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway. Candidates must be 16 or older. A driver’s license is required for all Gulf Beach lifeguards. 

GULF BEACH LIFEGUARDS:

We offer competitive pay, a flexible schedule, and an increase for returning summer Gulf Beach lifeguards, along with a $250 end-of-summer bonus!

Spring 2025 Tryout and Interview Dates:
Corpus Christi Natatorium, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway
Saturdays, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
