Senior Centers
Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation strives to cultivate the best quality of life for persons age 50 plus. The eight senior centers listed below are located throughout Corpus Christi. Senior centers offer a variety of programs and activities designed to meet the social, recreational, and health needs of persons age 50 plus. Please call your local senior center for more information.

Summer 2025 Beat the Heat Program
Reliant has partnered with the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department for the 16th year to offer residents seeking refuge from the summer heat.
Cooling Centers:
Centers are available from June 16 to September 30 at the following four centers: Greenwood Senior Center, Oveal Williams Senior Center, Lindale Senior Center, and Ethel Eyerly Senior Center. Visitors can enjoy indoor activities, instructional classes, and snacks in a cool environment.
Curbside Distribution:
Mark your calendar to join us on Saturday, July 19, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Greenwood Senior Center to receive a free box fan, kids' fun activity packets, and a snack while supplies last. Restrictions apply.
