Update to TexShare Database
By Library Staff
Originally posted on July 28, 2025. Updated on 8/7/202 to reflect information provided by Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC).
The TexShare databases are resources selected by TSLAC and partially subsidized through funding from TSLAC and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The July 28, 2025 blog post stated that due to changes in funding availability, some resources will not be renewed by TSLAC for their upcoming fiscal year. TSLAC received federal fiscal year 2025 grant award amount from the IMLS and was able to increase the number of databases renewed through May 31, 2026.
Below is the updated list of all new, current, and canceled resources available through TexShare. All currently available resources can be found on our Research and Resources page.
Resources new and renewed through May 31, 2026
The following resources will be renewed for a full contract term beginning June 1, 2025, and ending May 31, 2026. These resources will be eligible for an additional one-year renewal, pending approval by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission based on vendor performance, resource usage, and available funds.
